Color printing and scanning services

Creating museum-quality color prints and scans requires patience, and dedication to color balance and technique. Subtle, high-quality output only comes from time spent and accurate calibration.

WHAT I OFFER

After many years of trial and error, I have “cracked the code” on cross-platform calibration in my studio darkroom.  This was only possible after I brought the entire digital process in-house.  It allows me to offer extraordinary quality scans from negative film and transparencies (film from 35mm up to and including 8” x 10”), and color prints on sheet paper up to A2 (16.5” x 23.4”).

I normally stock papers from Epson, Hahnemühle and Moab, but can calibrate to any paper you prefer if you simply drop ship it to me.  Once the project is complete, I will return any unused paper with the final prints.  I can print double-sided on select papers for books and other purposes.  All prints are sized precisely to your framing specifications.

Before starting on a project, we will speak in depth about what you’re trying to accomplish and whether or not a round of proofs might be advisable.  I’m happy to accommodate in any way that I can.
